Abstract

This article addresses the essential role of inclusive education in promoting equity and academic success in higher education. In the context of an increasingly diverse student population, inclusion becomes a fundamental principle for ensuring equitable access to resources, adequate support, and participation in academic life. The present study is based on a questionnaire survey aimed at exploring students’ experiences regarding accessibility, adaptability of educational content, institutional support, and their sense of belonging within the university community. The results highlight the existence of considerable challenges as well as valuable resources that support inclusion. Based on the analysis of results, the article proposes action directions and recommendations for the development of more inclusive practices capable of responding to the diversity of students’ needs. The conclusion emphasizes that an inclusive university is not only more equitable but also more effective, contributing to the formation of competent, confident, and socially connected graduates.
