MODERN APPROACHES TO TEACHING FOREIGN LANGUAGE FOR SPECIFIC PROFESSIONAL PURPOSES

Annotation.This article investigates modern approaches to teaching foreign languages for professional purposes through the integration of innovative educational technologies.In the context of global collaboration and increasing professional demands, foreign language competence is not merely a skill but a vital tool for intercultural communication and professional interaction.The study emphasizes that teaching should focus on forming professional communication skills in authentic contexts related to students' future professions.Among the most effective approaches highlighted are the case study, microlearning, gamification, artificial intelligence (AI), 3D printing, and wearable technologies.The case study develops analytical, creative, and professional skills by engaging students in real-life scenarios, linking theoretical knowledge with practical problem-solving.Microlearning improves knowledge retention and engagement by delivering concise, targeted lessons.Gamification transforms students into active participants, enhancing motivation, responsibility, and creativity.Artificial intelligence supports personalized learning, immediate feedback, and assessment of student performance, allowing instructors to provide individual guidance and strengthen teacher-student interaction.3D printing facilitates the visualization of complex professional objects, helping students learn specialized terminology through hands-on creation of models, especially in engineering, medicine, and automotive fields.Wearable devices, such as smartwatches and AR glasses, enable immersive and interactive learning, real-time monitoring of progress, and the development of practical skills in professional contexts.The study demonstrates that integrating these technologies not only enhances foreign language proficiency but also promotes critical thinking, creativity, digital literacy, and adaptability.Such approaches prepare students for the challenges of the Věda a perspektivy № 12(55) 2025
