FEATURES OF USING CALCULATION SOFTWARE IN PARAMETRIC DESIGN OF POWER MACHINES
Abstract
The subject of the article is a review of software tools for parametric design of electromechanical energy converters. These tools significantly improve the quality of calculations and design of structural parts of power machines and mechanisms. The paper analyzes existing software tools for calculation and modeling of electromechanical energy converters and substantiates that the use of well-known CAD programs is advisable to use only for solving applied engineering problems, but to obtain results in experimental design, or design of electrical machines for which there are no analogues (by design or operating characteristics), it is necessary to develop an additional software block, or write an individual program.Among the software tools for improving parametric design, three complexes are distinguished: FEMM, MatLab, and Ansys. It has been established that writing such a software block is advisable, from a functional point of view, to be performed within the framework of multiparametric design, where efficiency is achieved due to simultaneous modeling of electromagnetic, electromechanical and heat-ventilation processes of an electrical machine.
