Abstract
Акцентовано Наукові перспективи № 12(66) 2025 2505 identity have been identified, including social comparison, identification with a reference group, and emotional contagion, which are reinforced by the speed and visual richness of digital communication. It has been noted that the use of reflective exercises analyzing online interactions promotes awareness of emotional engagement and strengthens intra-group cohesion. The impact of digital platforms on networked interaction and self-presentation has been outlined, leading to the emergence of fluid and situational identities and the transformation of traditional mechanisms of social cohesion. The regulatory role of digital metrics and public approval in the process of group self-identification has been confirmed. The ambivalence of the digital environment, which combines integrative potential with risks of polarization and informational dependency, has been highlighted.Attention has been drawn to the necessity of combining social and psychological tools to support group identity in order to preserve the value integrity of communities. The role of media-mediated interaction and communication globalization in the formation of mobile, symbolic, and flexible group identities has been demonstrated. It has been illustrated that online communities serve as a space for the intensification of self-presentation, cognitive alignment, and integration of group meanings. It has been shown that group identity in the digital era functions as an adaptive resource, combining collective integration with the psychological self-preservation of the individual. In conclusion, the results of the study allow for an understanding of the specifics of the formation and stabilization of group identities in contemporary digital environments.
