Abstract

Due to the active development of organic production, the issue of controlling products declared as organic products is particularly relevant. In this regard, the purpose of our research was to conduct a comparative analysis of qualitative indicators and to assess the safety of plant products obtained under organic and traditional farming conditions. The research materials were samples of vegetables and fruits grown organically and in the traditional way. The article presents the organoleptic parameters of the studied products, as well as the results of determining the nitrate content. In the results, it was determined that the nitrate content was exceeded in 7 samples of organic products, this excess was found in 17 samples of traditionally grown plant products.
