Abstract

The image of the manor from Camenca was reconstructed based on the illustrative material, the research of the architectural object, architectural and historical materials systematization, as well as on the comparative analysis of the manors from the end of the XVIIIth century to the first third of the XIXth century, that appeared within the former borders of Rzeczpospolita. The analysis of the structural organization of the estate and of the architectural solution of its components has revealed the characteristic features of the classical style, inherent to the manor. The architecture of the buildings and constructions examined is defined by distinct forms, volumes and plans symmetry, the presence of porticos. The space of the courtyard of honor is subject to central axial composition. The connection between the palace and park ensemble with the natural landscape is carried out by stone terraces, planted with grapevine, and individual structures (winery and watchtowers), included skillfully in a slope in the form of arc, which is bordering the park in the northern part. The execution of the manor is based on the use of compositional techniques and on the forms developed in the construction of noble residences from the studied region.
