Rola zarządzania w kształtowaniu zachowań prozdrowotnych funkcjonariuszy Służby Więziennej

This paper aims to bring into focus the issues related to the importance of managing health-promoting behaviors among Prison Service officers. It employs a self-prepared, anonymous and voluntary questionnaire, which was distributed to a hundred Prison Service officers who were candidates at the University of Justice in Warsaw studying at the Faculty of Penitentiary Science. The research project focused on verifying selected aspects of lifestyle in relation to health-promoting behaviors. Conclusions drawn from the survey analysis indicate a need for initiatives to develop curricula that include specific content designed to enhance health awareness of uniformed academy students.
