Sztuczna inteligencja (AI) w zarządzaniu bezpieczeństwem i personelem więziennym: percepcja innowacji technologicznych wśród studentów penitencjarystyki

The article addresses the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the management of prison security and personnel, presenting AI as a high-risk technology, yet a tool with great transformative potential. It points to examples of AI implementations in correctional systems worldwide and analyzes their significance for the efficiency, ethics, and transparency of institutional operations. Particular attention is paid to the Polish context, where AI solutions have not yet entered penitentiary practice. The study conducted among students of penitentiary studies allows capturing their attitudes towards technological innovations, thus forming an important reference point for the future organizational culture of the Polish Prison Service.
