Abstract

The front and back of the chasuble are made of velvet and covered with a pattern of plant motifs. The piping is embroidered with gold thread. The chasuble is one of only a few historical liturgical vestments that remain in the abbey to this day. Most of the liturgical paraments were removed from the monastery after its dissolution in 1787. 18th century Museum of the Benedictine Abbey in Tyniec Inventory number: T/2/2012 Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab
