Abstract

Mosaic preserved in the Roman villa of Carranque (Toledo, Spain). The residential part of the Roman villa of Carranque preserves one of the best collections of Roman mosaics in Spain. Most of the mosaics have been dated to the 4th century AD. In this case, we see a decoration with geometric and floral drawings. In the center of the corridor we can see the representation of the Titan Oceanus. The mosaics of the Roman villa of Carranque are made up of thousands of tesserae, made up of small stones, ceramic fragments and glass of different colors, whose size ranges between 2 millimeters and 4 centimeters. 3D model was made in RealityCapture using 874 images. Additional processing was done in Geomagic Wrap, Zbrush, Substance Designer, and Blender. Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab
