Abstract

Petroglyph J20-2021 Khatm Al Melaha, Sharjah. Syrian Wild Ass on right. J19, Hyena, on left After initial documentation in 2019, the site was revisited in 2021, with many new discoveries, and the additional documentation of some of the more important petroglyphs. This rock was documented a second time in order to increase quality as more of it was accessible at that time. Probably Neolithic or earlier. These are common motifs in southern Arabia, Oman, and the UAE. Many similar motifs are found in "Fossati 2019 Messages from the Past: Rock Art of the Al-Hajar Mountains (Oman)." 3D model made in Reality Capture using 129 images. Additional processing completed in InstantMeshes and Geomagic Wrap. Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab
