Jabal Al-Emaileh - Tomb IV
Abstract
Jabal Al-Emaileh is a site located approximately 15km south of Mleiha, Sharjah that consists of four stone funeary structures including Tomb IV. This tomb is a low stone cairn that measures approximately 12 meters in diameter. The structure was constructed from generally large rectangular or oblong stones without the use of morter. Investigations of the site resulted in the discovery of skeletal remains and artifacts in a mostly disturbed state. The model was made in Reality Capture software using photogrammetry and laser scan data captured with a FARO Focus3D S70. Additional model processing was completed in Geomagic and Instantmeshes Text Source: Annual Sharjah Archaeology: Twelfth Report (1993 - 1994).
