Abstract

The unknown woman saint with a book was carved in oak wood and still bears traces of priming and polychrome. The identification of the saint is impossible because of the lack of the right hand, in which she probably held the attribute which defined her. The woman is dressed in a long dress with a cloak slung on her shoulders. A decorative draped turban, with a large brooch applied at the front, adorns her long loose hair. **For more images and further information, visit**: https://muzea.malopolska.pl/en/objects-list/1868 Inventory number: MNK XII-A-624 Location of the physical object: National Museum in Kraków, Poland **Digitalisation: Regional Digitalisation Lab, Małopolska Institute of Culture in Kraków, Poland; "Virtual Museums of Małopolska" project.** Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab
