Galvanometer
Abstract
The galvanometer was designed to measure weak direct currents. The measuring element was a movable magnetic needle suspended on a quartz thread between two fixed coils. In order to protect the measuring system against the Earth's magnetic field, armor in the form of a soft iron sphere was used. 1907, Germany Jagiellonian University Museum Collegium Maius Inventory number: 4360; 360/V https://muzea.malopolska.pl/en/objects-list/2772 Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab
