Attikafigur Bass
Abstract
Figure from the attic of the destroyed Vienna Ring Theatre. The four statues (singing quartet) once adorned the façade of the theatre at Schottenring 7, which opened in 1874. They represent the four most common voice parts: soprano, alto, tenor and bass. The building was destroyed by a severe fire in 1881. The rescued figures are now in the Pötzleinsdorf Palace Park.
