Abstract

This archive contains the revision-2 reproducibility materials for the global steel agent-based model developed to assess decarbonization pathways under policy, technology, resource, and supply constraints. It includes the executable model code, scenario and sensitivity configurations, parameter documentation, figure source data, validation and diagnostic outputs, and a public aggregate benchmark dataset representing the global steel fleet by country, production route, and commissioning vintage. The scientific model is initialized from confidential equipment- and process-level records that cannot be redistributed. Accordingly, this archive does not reproduce the confidential microdata. Instead, the public benchmark is provided to support workflow execution, structural verification, code review, and reproducibility of the model architecture and analysis procedures. The revision-2 archive documents the annual process-unit decision framework, lifecycle and construction logic, bounded policy-pressure mechanism, production and resource reconciliation, emissions and cost accounting, scenario design, uncertainty and sensitivity analyses, and the source data underlying the manuscript figures and tables.
