Abstract

This deliverable aims to establish a data inventory supporting the FishEUTrust project's sustainability and impact assessment by detailing the collection and treatment of farm and supply chain data. This involves gathering information on production, feed, infrastructure, processing, distribution, and labor using standardized spreadsheets. The data is then used to determine intermediary flows, create correspondence tables for Life Cycle Inventory (LCI) processes, and calculate environmental impacts. An example assessment of sea bream production highlights the importance of renewable energy for competitive Recirculating Aquaculture Systems (RAS). The comprehensive data collection and analysis methodology in WP6 will support robust sustainability and impact assessments within the FishEUTrust project, providing insights into optimizing aquaculture production for environmental and socio-economic benefits.
