Abstract

This record provides the manuscript and reproducibility archive for version 5 of A Constraint-Modulated Rate Law for Glass-Forming Systems: Viscosity Evidence and Dielectric Transfer in Salol. The study compares the five-parameter CPA+C rate law with the Vogel–Fulcher–Tammann (VFT), Mauro–Yue–Ellison–Gupta–Allan (MYEGA), and Avramov–Milchev equations using source-verified glass-forming-system data. The primary analyses comprise 35 published salol viscosity symbols spanning 14.15 decades, 60 source-verified B₂O₃ viscosity measurements across three viscometer configurations, 21 equilibrium salol dielectric observations, and a 10-observation fixed-geometry viscosity-to-dielectric transfer. The salol viscosity analysis includes point fitting, 1,000 symbol-level bootstrap resamples, and leave-one-symbol-out prediction. The transfer propagates all 1,000 viscosity-derived temperature geometries and compares the fixed modulation with a denominator-matched control. CPA+C is favored over the nearest viscosity comparator by 47.724 AIC units in salol and 57.389 AIC units in B₂O₃. In salol, the leave-one-symbol-out RMSE is 0.2065, compared with 0.3982 for the nearest comparator, and CPA+C is selected in all 1,000 symbol-level bootstrap resamples. The fixed-geometry dielectric model is favored over the denominator-matched control by 16.3214 AIC units at the point geometry and in all 1,000 propagated geometries under AIC, BIC, and the primary AICc convention. A complementary direct comparison also favors CPA+C on the 21-observation equilibrium dielectric record. The archive contains the final manuscript and figures; primary inputs; frozen analysis specifications; fitting, verification, and audit code; canonical point-fit, bootstrap, held-out-prediction, dielectric, and transfer outputs; the exact-source B₂O₃ audit; OTP provenance and source-construction materials; source-resolution documentation; the claim-and-source ledger; SHA-256 manifests; and independent validation records. OTP materials are retained for provenance and source-construction review and are not used as quantitative evidence in the manuscript. Version 5 is a major consolidated release in the existing Zenodo record lineage. Earlier viscosity-only and dielectric-specific deposits remain available as historical records.
