Abstract

This study examines the levels of academic stress among Indian college students and explores the coping mechanisms that promote resilience and psychological well-being. A quantitative survey was conducted using the Perceived Stress Scale (PSS) and the Brief COPE Inventory. Findings indicate that the majority of students experience moderate to high stress levels, with exams, career uncertainty, and parental expectations being the most common stressors. The study highlights the importance of adaptive coping strategies and recommends implementing institutional support programs for mental health.
