Resonance-Based Interpretation of Thermodynamic Laws with Implications for Informational Self-Compensation
Abstract
This theoretical study reinterprets the classical laws of thermodynamics through a resonance-based and informationally symmetric framework. The work proposes that energy and entropy conservation may be understood as manifestations of phase-balanced resonance processes, rather than purely statistical macroscopic constraints. Without contradicting the established thermodynamic laws, the model suggests that self-compensating resonance dynamics could underlie entropy production, equilibrium formation, and irreversible behavior across physical scales. Based on this interpretation, the study discusses the possibility of a higher-order organizing principle — sometimes referred to as a fourth thermodynamic law — emerging from informational self-compensation. The framework is intended as a conceptual extension compatible with classical and quantum thermodynamics, offering testable perspectives for future theoretical and experimental investigations.
