A Unified Framework of Adaptive Laws: From Limited Propagation to Predictive Morphogenetic Stability
Abstract
We present a unified framework of adaptive laws linking structural locality, critical balance, kinetic limits, dissipation, adaptive equilibrium, morphogenetic stabilization, predictive learning, and bounded coherence. Rather than proposing a single universal equation for all adaptive systems, the framework organizes a family of previously developed laws into a layered architecture. The Principle of Limited Propagation (PPLM) defines structural regimes of locality, criticality, and globality. The Universal Stability Principle (USL) identifies a recurrent critical balance threshold. The Universal Law of Descent (LUDC) bounds the rate of ordering. The Law of Free Energy (LFE) and the Law of Dissipative Flow (LUDF) describe the energetic and dissipative substrate of adaptation. The Universal Law of Adaptive Equilibrium (ULAE) turns the stability boundary into a robust attractor. The Universal Law of Form (ULF), the Predictive Universal Law of Form (P-ULF), and the Universal Law of Adaptive Learning (ULAL) describe geometric, predictive, and learning-centered stabilization of form. The framework culminates in the Law of Predictive Coherence (LPC) as an operating condition for bounded adaptive persistence. The present document does not claim a total theory of all complex systems, but offers a structured synthesis clarifying dependencies, scope, and falsifiability across the published notes.
