EAAI v1.4 — Evidentiary Status and Scope Clarification for ECR-P
Abstract
This is a patch release to Ephemeral Adaptive AI (EAAI) v1.3, not a new architecture or a revision of EAAI's core design. It clarifies the evidentiary status of ECR-P, the privacy-governing reflex controlling T1→T2 persistence writes, and closes two open specification questions: ECR-P's independence from any aggregate coherence measurement, and what qualifies as an explicit user authorization under cascade conditions. This release also formally establishes ECR-P as a component documented within EAAI, rather than a separate work — its specification and evidence status will continue to be maintained through future EAAI releases. ECR-P is conceptually specified but has not been empirically tested; no trial data, scoring-procedure validation, or adversarial analysis exists in the published record. This patch adds a rule distinguishing what user authorization can and cannot override: authorization can release a cascade-triggered precautionary block, but it does not waive T2 persistence eligibility, sensitivity restrictions, or anti-aggregation rules from v1.3. This release also explicitly supersedes absolute language in v1.3 (e.g., "ensures privacy," "solves the privacy paradox," compliance-alignment claims) — those describe design objectives, not demonstrated or certified outcomes.
