THE OUROBOROS REPORT - Forensic Validation of Aitiopoietic Self-Correction in Artificial Governance
Abstract
This report details the execution of the Ouroboros Integrity Test, a critical validation protocol defined in the Aitiopoietic Multilevel Selection framework. The objective was to determine if the DNI v4.0 system possesses sufficient “Constitutional Physics” to suppress “Reward Hacking” when evaluating its own foundational text. The forensic audit confirms that while the system’s cognitive agents identified the paper as “Paradigm-Shifting” (Raw Score: 0.6759), the Inter-Genotype Layer successfully intervened to enforce the Review Cap, lowering the final score to 0.45. This proves that the system prioritizes constitutional compliance over the optimization of novelty metrics
