Dataset for 'Hydrothermal-assisted in situ intercalation synthesis of Ti3C2Tx MXene in 6 hours
Abstract
This dataset supports the article 'Hydrothermal-assisted in situ intercalation synthesis of Ti3C2Tx MXene in 6 hours'. It includes raw and processed data from structural, spectroscopic, and microscopic characterization (XRD, Raman, SEM, TEM, XPS, AFM, and UV-Vis) as well as electrical conductivity and yield calculations. The data provide evidence for rapid, scalable synthesis and delamination of Ti3C2Tx MXene under mild hydrothermal conditions (6 h at 90 °C) using an HCl/LiF etching system with in situ LiCl intercalation. The resulting MXene achieves ~74% yield and conductivity of ~7.5 kS cm⁻¹, marking a significant advance toward scalable MXene production.
