Covariant Phase-Clock Cosmology: A Relational-Time Bridge between Gravity and Quantum Dynamics, Baryogenesis, Oscillatory Dark Matter, and Late-Time Acceleration
Abstract
Abstract We propose a covariant phase-clock framework in which one complex scalar sector, Φ=ρe^{iθ}, supplies two late-time degrees of freedom: a radial excitation behaving as oscillatory wave-like dark matter, and an oriented phase defining a monotonic relational clock. The phase is not identified with gravity itself: geometry remains governed by an Einstein-Hilbert sector, while the unwrapped phase Θ orders relational evolution and standard unitary quantum mechanics and quantum field theory are recovered in the semiclassical limit after deparametrization with respect to Θ. An energetic no-go for producing the required phase charge during the electroweak epoch motivates inherited-current matching, Q*=Qθ, in which an earlier conserved current is represented after ordering by the phase current of the low-energy effective theory. The same sign of Q* selects the orientation of relational time and the sign of a weak B+L chemical bias; Standard-Model weak sphalerons freeze the baryon asymmetry at T*=131.523 GeV without an auxiliary temperature window. The radial abundance fixes Q*(mσ) through Ωσ0=0.265 before CMB tests. An all-dark-matter structure-constraint scan requires mσ>2×10^ 20 eV, while the − AxiCLASS radial-sector calculation yields sub-percent lensed-CMB residuals and a mass-dependent highk suppression of the matter power spectrum. The late phase state supplies negative pressure without an explicit classical cosmological constant. Combined causal, energetic and matching constraints support a coherent history of the observable domain involving a homogenized pre-clock sector, non-adiabatic quantum production, thermalization, finite-density ordering and the late M0 theory. Together, these results define a falsifiable framework linking relational time, the dark sector and the orientation of the baryon asymmetry while recovering tested general relativity and semiclassical QM/QFT in their respective regimes.
