Abstract

We derive, from the nine axioms of Ontological Resolution Theory (ORT, Canon v16.0), that nuclear fusion in a topologically constrained region is not a probabilistic tunneling event but a logical necessity of ontological rendering. The derivation proceeds in four theorems: (1) T_TVR.1 (Ontological Capacity): The bit-capacity of a spatial voxel equals K_cell = Z_bare − 4 ≈ 133 bits, where Z_bare ≈ 137.036 is the geometric impedance and 4 is the indexation tax from the 4→3+1 symmetry breaking. (2) T_TVR.2 (Topological Suppression): Each unit of topological charge Q suppresses effective capacity by factor C = e^(2π/3), yielding β = 2π/3. (3) T_TVR.3 (Kinematic Aliasing): Aliasing occurs at critical charge Q_crit = (Z_bare − 4 − k + 1)·ln2/β ≈ 40.4, where k = 12 is the FCC coordination number. (4) T_TVR.4 (Merger Theorem): Above this threshold, the only admissible configuration is merger (synthesis). Separate existence of distinct particles is ontologically blocked. All parameters are derived from canonical constants with zero free parameters. A 7×7 vortex lattice (Q = 49) exceeds the threshold by 21%, providing a concrete engineering target for controlled fusion at room temperature. Falsifiable prediction: A deuterium plasma subjected to a 7×7 optical vortex lattice at temperatures well below 10⁸ K will produce 2.45 MeV neutrons at a rate sharply exceeding background for Q > 40.
