PHOEBE Training Data
Abstract
Synthetic light curves of contact binary systems produced using PHOEBE for training a neural network regressor. Contains a total of 5,000,000 sample light curves. Files: ids-todos.dat - single-column file containing the IDs associated with each synthetic light curve (UUID format). molestia-todos.dat - CSV file containing "nuisance" parameters for each synthetic light curve. Columns: model_id - light curve UUID. porb - orbital period (days). teff_primary - effective temperature of primary star (Kelvin). ntriangles - number of triangles used to compute the surface mesh in PHOEBE, corresponding to the same ntriangles parameter in the PHOEBE bundle. parametros-todos.dat - CSV file containing the main model parameters used to generate the corresponding synthetic light curve. These parameters were fed into a PHOEBE bundle to compute the synthetic forward model, alongside the nuisance parameters listed above. Columns: model_id - light curve UUID. q - component mass ratio (M2 / M1). fillout_factor - system fillout factor. incl - system orbital inclination, corresponding to incl@binary in the PHOEBE bundle (degrees). teffratio - component effective temperature ratio (T2 / T1). l3 - fraction of system flux attributed to third light, corresponding to l3_frac in the PHOEBE bundle. spot_component - host stellar component for the spot included in the model, where a value of 0 indicates the spot to be on the primary component and a value of 1 on the secondary. This value is empty where a stellar spot was NOT included in the forward model. spot_long - stellar spot longitude wrt the host component (degrees). This value is empty where a stellar spot was NOT included in the forward model. spot_relteff - effective temperature scaling of the stellar spot wrt the host's effective temperature. A value less than 1 indicates a cold spot, whereas a value greater than one indicates a hot spot. This value is empty where a stellar spot was NOT included in the forward model. spot_radius - angular diameter of stellar spot wrt the host stellar surface (degrees). This value is empty where a stellar spot was NOT included in the forward model. muestras-ruido-{#}.dat - pseudo-CSV files containing the normalized, phase-folded synthetic light curves with synthetic noise. The format is as follows: Model UUID 101 CSV rows in the form of {phase},{norm_flux},{flux_sigma} Example: M6e3e048a-26d5-49bd-aa63-33c31ace18a1 0.010000000000000009,0.7534229430700168,0.004400872644032053 0.020000000000000018,0.7535403566648204,0.004351876484887542 0.030000000000000027,0.753790687838112,0.0043038010297864375 0.040000000000000036,0.7558956771175162,0.004256713311693613 0.050000000000000044,0.7654402877553357,0.004210678320274513 ...
