General information: This repository contains the 2026 DESCAM-3D simulation for the 7-9 March 2018 case of ICE POP 2018 field campaign Model setup (setup_1h): Topography: Located in setup_1h/TOPO/ Contains the surface toporagphy data for the 3 nested domains of DESCAM-3D. Boundary data and initilization: Located in setup_1h/CEP/ The boundary and initial condition files from ERA5 ECMWF reanalysis are formatted for compatibility with DESCAM-3D. Bin scheme startup: The creation of the binned distribution for DESCAM simulations is done in setup_1h/GEN_R1/ Simulation CTRL.zip is the former version of DESCAM (no rime prediction) pRIME.zip is the new version of DESCAM (including predicted) GEN_D1: DESCAM-3D code for the 1st outer domain only (8 km resolution) GEN_D2: DESCAM-3D code for the 1st and 2nd nested domains (8 km and 4 km resolution) GEN_D3: DESCAM-3D code for all the 3 nested domains (8 km, 4 km, and 1 km resolution)
