Abstract

Mumax3 scripts and Python post-processing code used to obtain the results presented in the manuscript "Temporal magnetic interfaces reveal damping-induced spin-wave amplification near the stripe-domain transition in ultrathin films with DMI" by Krzysztof Sobucki and Paweł Gruszecki. This deposit contains the micromagnetic simulation scripts together with the Python post-processing pipeline used to extract the spin-wave transmission and reflection (T/R) coefficients reported in the manuscript. Contents *.mx3 — Mumax3 input scripts defining the simulations of spin-wave propagation across a sharp temporal interface (an abrupt change of the bias field). estimation of T and R coefficients.7z — archive with the Python post-processing pipeline used to estimate the transmission and reflection coefficients from the simulation output. It contains: micromagtools/ — Python library for reading and handling the simulation output (OVF files), used by the post-processing code. temporal_tr.py — core post-processing module: loads the OVF time series, separates the incident, transmitted and reflected spin-wave components, and extracts the transmission and reflection coefficients T and R. temporal_tr_plots.py — optional diagnostic plots (real-space envelopes, frequency–wavevector spectra, mask validation, fitted envelopes) used to inspect and verify the separation. temporal_tr_demo.ipynb — Jupyter notebook demonstrating the full workflow on an example simulation set, from loading the data to saving the resulting T/R curves. Requirements Python 3 with NumPy, SciPy and Matplotlib; Jupyter for the demo notebook. The included micromagtools library is required to read the OVF output.
