Abstract

Damysos.jl v1.1.0 New features Periodic two-band models: Hamiltonians defined on a Bloch lattice (SemiconductorToy1d, MonolayerhBN) with Monkhorst–Pack k-grids (CartesianMPKGrid1d, HexagonalMPKGrid2d), including BZ-mask/bounds handling. PreparedSimulation workflow: precompiled simulation objects replace raw define_functions handling; worldage bottleneck strategy implemented New default CPU solver and a slimmer dependency footprint (reduced OrdinaryDiffEq surface). showinfo keyword for run! on ConvergenceTest. Fixes & robustness HDF5 saving now refuses to write unloadable data: saving a type without a LOADABLES registration throws instead of silently omitting the T tag (which historically produced files load_obj_hdf5 could never reconstruct); dead Velocity regex entry removed (#1986). ConvergenceTest: fixed currentvalue MethodError for time-grid parameters (#1984); registered SemiconductorToy1d/CartesianMPKGrid1d for loading; further periodic-model fixes from review (#1982 follow-ups). SemiconductorToy1d: half-gap convention documented; the Unitful constructor keyword is now halfgap (struct fields unchanged — stored files are unaffected). Documentation & tests Documentation overhaul: lean README plus new manual pages; dedicated Hamiltonian-models page grouped by periodicity. Fast smoke tests for periodic models; broader test refactoring. Validation This release loads the complete PhD-thesis dataset (18 HDF5 files, 993 Simulation/ConvergenceTest objects, including pre-1.1 legacy formats) without errors.
