Abstract

This monograph presents the Family Manager Concept as a competence-based policy proposal to reverse sub-replacement fertility in gender-equal societies. By professionalizing reproductive labor while maintaining full gender equality, the concept offers a structural solution to the ongoing fertility crisis in developed and emerging economies. The approach is grounded in the Competence-based Theory of Evolution (Mersch, 2025, https://doi.org/10.5281/10.5281/zenodo.17861507).
