Abstract

Healing with Gua Sha: Self-Healing Through Gua Sha presents a comprehensive, research-aligned framework for understanding Gua Sha as both a therapeutic technique and a pathway of embodied self-recovery. Drawing from Traditional Eastern Medicine, fascia science, somatic awareness, and women’s health, the book explains how stagnation, microcirculation, qi dynamics, and stored emotions interact within the healing process. This academic edition clarifies the physiological and energetic mechanisms of Gua Sha, outlines safety principles, maps emotional–somatic responses, and demonstrates how women can apply the practice at home to release tension, restore vitality, and reconnect with the body’s intuitive intelligence. Designed for scholarly indexing and DOI registration, the text contributes to the fields of integrative medicine, mind–body healing, women’s wellbeing, and embodied therapeutics.
