CIVA - Complexity IV Analyzer

CIVA is a desktop application for the automated calculation of complexity metrics from DICOM RTPlan files, designed for medical physicists and radiotherapy professionals. CIVA analyzes IMRT/VMAT treatment plans using only the RTPlan DICOM file (no fluence maps or dose calculation required). It computes key complexity metrics such as Modulation Complexity Score (MCS), Small Aperture Score (SAS), and Plan Normalised MUs (PMU). The software provides immediate visual feedback with color-coded indicators (red/green) based on user-defined thresholds, and supports clinical customization by equipment type.
