Abstract

Linear Geometry describes geometric properties that depend on the notion of a line. The fundamental structure studied in Linear Geometry is the structure of a liner. It is a set of points endowed with a family of subsets called lines. This family should satisfy two axioms, one of which is the first Euclid axiom postulating that any distinct points belong to a unique line. In this survey paper we discuss liners that satisfy classical incidence conditions named after Desargues, Pappus, Thales, Moufang, Fano, Boole.
