Semi-synthetic data for Dextrusion Review
Abstract
This dataset was generated from data generously provided by Jian Xiong Wang and Melanie White for the purpose of testing the efficacy of Dextrusion. Briefly, 'cell' boundaries were defined as the midpoint between the maxima of the nuclei channels, which was then inverted for use with the Dextrusion GUI. In an updated vesion, Nuclei were detected using LoG tracker in Trackmate, and a 1x1 px label image was created using the tools in Trackmate. These points were then detected with Find Maxima and the 'membrane' was created using the output segmentation optoin. The inverted map was also subjected to a 0.8sigma gaussian filter. The pre-processed (stabilised using 3D Drift Correct tool) and median filter (2px) nuclei only (NUC-mCherry) data is included as the files called nuc.tif.
