Lake Nearshore Algal Bloom Analysis Data

This dataset provides annual spatio-temporal metrics of algal bloom frequency, cumulative contribution, environmental drivers (surface temperature and total phosphorus) across 10 concentric buffer zones for 1,051 global large lakes from 2003 to 2024, and several test MODIS scenes extracted from the earth engine platform, serving as supplementary data for the manuscript 'Lake nearshore regions as hotspots for algal blooms' by Bi, Shi et al. (submitted 2025).
