Visualizing Floating-Point Artifacts in Slowly Converging Sequences: A Geometric Approach
Abstract
Interactive visualization framework for understanding floating-point display artifacts in slowly converging sequences. Uses concentric circles with adaptive scaling to reveal continued mathematical convergence beyond numerical display thresholds. Includes analysis of four convergence rates (algebraic, logarithmic, exponential, doubly-slow) with empirical validation. Browser-based tool available on GitHub.
