Serial Phase Order: A Pre-Causal Encoding of Space and Directional Order in Unitary Transport - Neutrino Oscillations
Abstract
Serial Phase Order (SPO): Foundational Phase Structure in Unitary TransportVening, E.J., 2025, the Netherlands Description:Serial Phase Order (SPO) identifies a structural invariant in unitary transport: the ordered accumulation of phase orientation along a transport path. SPO is not a new dynamical quantity or modification of existing theory; rather, it highlights a feature already implicit in standard quantum mechanics, including neutrino oscillations, Berry phases, Wilson lines, and path-integral formulations. SPO separates phase accumulation from probability projection, framing the former as a latent, transport-intrinsic ordering substrate. This substrate persists through unitary evolution, independent of clock time, environmental decoherence, or the identity of the quantum state. Observable probabilities emerge from projections at interaction events, while the underlying phase sequence remains continuous and monotonic. Neutrinos are used as an illustrative example due to their weak interactions and long coherence lengths, making the distinction between latent order and projected outcomes particularly clear. Similar structures exist in other coherent quantum systems, though decoherence often obscures them. Causality as Emergent Projection:Within this framework, causality is interpreted as a derived interface: a mapping of the latent phase order onto observable interactions. This does not violate relativistic constraints and leaves standard quantum field theoretic treatments intact. SPO provides a lens for understanding directionality, anticipation, and coherence in unitary transport, without altering predictive outcomes. Positioning:This work is foundational, bridging physics, information theory, and the philosophy of quantum structure. It highlights an ontological substrate already present in quantum evolution and invites reflection on how ordered phase structure underpins coherent systems. SPO offers conceptual clarity rather than experimental novelty; readers seeking modifications to neutrino oscillation physics should consult standard literature.
