Code and derived data for modelling thermal contrast between spectacled flying-foxes (Pteropus conspicillatus) and background canopy vegetation in drone-acquired thermal imagery. The study uses a Bayesian hierarchical model to quantify how air temperature and net short-wave solar irradiance jointly influence thermal contrast (ΔT) at four roost sites in tropical north Queensland, Australia. Includes data prep and Bayesian hierarchical models for thermal contrast model implemented in JAGS via jagsUI.
