Abstract

The sampling-event dataset contains all the necessary details of the sampling events conducted in the Butuanon River, one of the major river channels in Metro Cebu, Philippines. Measurements of physiochemical attributes and microbial composition were evaluated to monitor the ecological health of the river. Specifically, the following measurements were conducted: (a) physicochemical parameters, and (b) bacterial occurrence and abundance.
