Eternalism and Temporal Dynamics in Tav Topology: A Philosophical Exploration in the Tau Universe
Abstract
This paper delves into the philosophical dimensions of Tav Topology within the Tau Universe framework, with a primary focus on eternalism (the block universe view) and its interplay with other temporal theories such as presentism and growing block time. We explore eternalism’s geometric fit with the infinite Axis of Eternity, quantum and undecidability implications, challenges, and philosophical depth. A detailed comparison between eternalism and presentism highlights core assumptions, compatibility withTav’s geometry and compactification, handling of undecidability in infinite Kaluza-Klein (KK) towers, implications for cosmological tensions and observables, and further challenges. Additional discussions address eternalism’s implications for free will and the viability of growing block time in Tav. This analysis reinforces Tav’s temporal agnosticism while illustrating its selective endorsements for consistent theories.
