Abstract

This paper presents the Foundational Laws of Dimensional Evolution (DE), defining an axiomatic layer beneath classical thermodynamics and electrodynamics. These laws formalize the structural origins of asymmetry, entropy, heat, dissipation, and irreversibility without altering established conservation principles or predictive frameworks. Rather than reinterpreting thermodynamics, this work explains why thermodynamic behavior emerges universally across electrical, mechanical, thermal, biological, and geological systems. Entropy is defined as a directional tendency toward asymmetry resolution, heat is identified as localized entropic manifestation under constraint, and fields and geometry are formalized as regulators of entropic pathways rather than primary energetic agents. The DE laws are conservative, non-speculative, and fully compatible with classical physics. This paper serves as a canonical axiomatic reference for all subsequent Dimensional Evolution works. --- Project website: https://de-theory.com This work is part of the Dimensional Evolution research program.
