The Analytical Interpretation Method: A Theoretical and Applied Study - Surat Al-Asr as a Model

ABSTRACT The research aims to shed light on one of the most important interpretive approaches adopted by interpreters in approaching the intended meaning of the Qur’anic text, which is the analytical approach; in order to stand on its concept, importance and practical foundations, in addition to the emergence of this interpretive procedure. And its development, and this study comes within the scope of research into the methods followed by the interpreters, and the extent of their commitment to the methodology they have chosen for themselves, since the interpretive methods have rules, foundations and steps that cannot be ignored, because in this case the interpreter would have approached the holy Qur’anic text in a random manner, which may result in concepts far removed from the intended meanings of that text. From this standpoint, the nature of the research required that it be divided into two theoretical sections and an applied section in which I addressed the interpretation of Surat Al-Asr according to the analytical method. Then I included a number of the research results in its conclusion, followed by a list of the research sources.
