Abstract

This whitepaper introduces Technological Cognitive Historiography (TCH), a novel meta-protocol designed to mitigate AGI/ASI existential risks (X-risk). TCH integrates the Humanities into the core of AI safety through the Historiographical Stress-Test and supplementary safety gates. By utilizing human history as a repository of negative patterns and implementing a Dual Vetting Architecture, TCH ensures ASI alignment with 3 Safety Pillars while respecting local sovereignty. TCH facilitates Causal Disambiguation through Temporal Elasticity, imposing strict negative boundaries based on historical analogies to prevent the reproduction of catastrophic systemic errors. By transforming the historical record into a robust validation framework, TCH establishes historiography as an operating safety layer for the era of Superior AI.
