Λ Constant, Axis Aligned: CMB Anomalies from Topology
Abstract
Three features of the cosmic microwave background have persisted across COBE, WMAP, and Planck: low-ℓ power suppression, parity asymmetry (R_TT ≈ 0.81), and quadrupole-octupole alignment. This paper shows that a single non-orientable topology predicts all three. The bounded domain sets ℓ_cut ≈ 32. The Möbius identification produces R_TT < 1. The twist axis defines a preferred direction whose observed misalignment estimates the observer's position on the strip. That position, combined with geometric attenuation η = L/χ*, returns R_TT = 0.814. One topology, one displacement, two observables. Latest derivation of this paper can be found at github.com/cmb-anomaliesv6 update: replaced locality field with wrapped-signal interference mechanism. Parity magnitude now derived from geometry (η = L/χ*) rather than fitted from P(30).
