Abstract

Şans ve Dans is a contemporary Turkish novel structured around chance, memory, and delayed revelation. The narrative is built on a tripartite framework, incorporating temporal shifts and retrospective layers that gradually disclose the core event at its center. Rather than linear causality, the novel foregrounds coincidence and human interpretation as organizing principles. Character identities are intentionally deferred, allowing thematic tension to precede personal disclosure. The work engages with questions of control, randomness, and ethical responsibility, situating individual experience within broader social and psychological contexts. This archival edition documents the novel as a literary work with established presence across international library access networks, providing a stable reference point for citation and long-term preservation.
