Resolving the vacuum energy density mismatch using a scale-invariant elastic lattice dynamics approach
Abstract
This paper presents a novel derivation of the vacuum energy density, providing a definitive resolution to the “120 orders of magnitude” discrepancy between quantum field theory predictions and cosmological observations. In this approach, we treat space as a discrete elastic medium (a dynamic lattice) with a fundamental cell size of the Planck length. We demonstrate that the observed vacuum energy density is not a sum of zero-point fluctuations but a macroscopic manifestation of the lattice tension distributed across the cosmic horizon. This is the final, citable version of the research. Earlier drafts have been superseded and are not intended for citation.
