Abstract

This paper presents a conceptual and computationally illustrated framework foradapting gifted-education practice to increasing diversity in learner populations, withemphasis on the identication and empowerment of underrepresented groups, the support oftwice-exceptional (2e) learners, the personalization of learning pathways, the preparation ofgifted students for a technology-intensive 21st-century labor market, and prospective visionsfor gifted education toward the year 2050. The paper's principal original contributionis the TriarchicRenzulli Synthesis Model (TRSM), a novel theoretical mapping thatintegrates Sternberg's triarchic components (analytical, creative, practical) with Renzulli'sthree-ring conception (above-average ability, creativity, task commitment) inside Gagné'sDierentiated Model of Giftedness and Talent (DMGT), operationalized through an explicitBayesian-network formulation. A second contribution is a probabilistic and optimizationtoolkitcomprising a correlated multivariate model of talent distribution, a BetaBinomialBayesian updating scheme for twice-exceptional identication, and a binary-knapsackformulation of individualized-pathway selectionwhose numerical properties (identicationrates, posterior means and credible intervals, sensitivity surfaces, and optimal resourceallocations) are derived by direct execution of the accompanying Python code ratherthan asserted. Every quantitative gure reported in the text is reproduced verbatimfrom this code, and the manuscript is explicit that these gures are properties of thestated illustrative assumptions (population parameters, correlation structures, priordistributions) rather than estimates from empirical gifted-education data; no claim ofempirical calibration is made anywhere in the paper. The framework is extended with amulti-parameter sensitivity and uncertainty analysis, a dedicated scientic and technicalrisk assessment, and a roadmap for experimental validation that renders the model's centralclaims falsiable, including explicit rejection criteria, a pre-registered pilot-study designwith a power-analysis-derived sample size, and a discussion of scope conditions underwhich the framework is not expected to hold. The paper closes with a critical, referencedcomparison against the existing gifted-education and AI-in-education literature, clarifyingthe specic incremental contribution of the TRSM and the DMGTMultiple-Intelligences(MI) synthesis relative to prior work, and with policy recommendations for 20252050. Allnumerical claims, all code, and all reference metadata have been independently checked forinternal consistency.
