EC-K-Typing database v4.0.0 This release expands the group 2 and group 3 reference database from 90 to 109 K-locus records. Database changes Added 16 sequence-defined loci assigned EC-K-Typing identifiers KL176–KL191. Added phenotype-associated references for K18-K22, K94 and K95. Renamed KL124 to KL6, KL110 to KL51 and KL116 to KL97. Added phenotype metadata for K6, K51 and K97. Added the Capsule null predicted descriptor for KL158. Reconciled reference annotations and added current atypical-locus and source-provenance documentation. Added reproducible database-construction tools and an offline private database builder. Validation 109/109 references produced perfect self-matches with Kaptive 3.1.0. No reference was untypeable. The final GenBank database contains 109 unique locus records.
