Time, Mass and Gravitation as Emergent Properties of Relational Networks: A Theoretical Study
Abstract
This paper proposes a purely relational dynamical framework in which spacetime, particles, and physical constants are not assumed a priori. The system consists solelyof interacting relational degrees of freedom. We demonstrate that an intrinsic orderparameter τ (emergent temporal inertia) necessarily emerges from relational evolutionand exhibits irreversible behavior. Based on the rigorously defined relational matrixRij and relational density ρR, we further show that effective mass and gravitational-like attraction are unavoidable structural consequences of relational load asymmetries.Crucially, the phase space of the system is not invariant under evolution, renderingPoincar´e recurrence structurally undefined. These results suggest that time, mass, and gravitation are not fundamental physical entities but rather emergent structuralphenomena of relational networks. Keywords: Relational physics; Emergent spacetime; Temporal inertia τ ; Effectivemass; Emergent gravitation; Poincar´e recurrence; Irreversibility.
